This book contains transcritions from some of Kevin's early solo albums.  Renowned Portland fiddler Betsy Branch did a great job of accurately notating Kevin's unique bowings exactly as heard on the recordings – “I was very impressed that Betsy had a clearer idea of what I was doing with the bow than I had myself!”. Thanks also to Shannon Zilka for the excellent design and layout.  Kevin’s iconic recording , “If the Cap Fits”, has been transcribed in its entirety, complete with bowings and the book also includes the music from 3 other early solo records – "Sweeney’s Dream", "Up Close" and "In Concert". Complete with pictures and anecdotes, the collection also contains 10 of Kevin’s own compositions.
